Product Insights
The CRUSOË Wood Trim Asymmetrical Mirror pairs a solid teak frame (Janka hardness 1,000–1,155 lbf, volumetric shrinkage 7%) with a narrow 18-inch profile that makes compact rooms feel larger and corridors taller, serving as a bedroom focal point, dining candlelight reflector, gallery wall anchor, or hallway elongator. Its natural moisture resistance eliminates the need for sealant, but the teak darkens to golden-brown and eventually weathers to silvery-gray if unsealed; the asymmetrical pebble silhouette may appear cheap in high-end bathrooms without intentional styling and must be hung centered 6 inches above furniture using included hardware (plaster requires different anchors). At $318 CAD, it costs less than a pine mirror while offering solid teak durability, suiting Japandi and Scandi lounges, small spaces, and gallery walls, but its trend-peak design polarizes traditional interiors.

Community Q&A
- How should I hang or mount an asymmetrical mirror?
- Hang it on the wall, do not lean it; position it centered and about 6 inches above furniture; account for off-center balance; use mirror-safe adhesive for framing.
- Will an asymmetrical mirror go out of style quickly?
- Possibly, but it depends on your overall decor; pairing it with organic, modern, or Japandi elements can keep it looking current longer than if it's the only organic shape in a geometric room.
- Where can I find this mirror or similar styles?
- Check West Elm, CB2, Urban Outfitters, Home Depot, Homary, and Etsy; search for 'pebble mirror' or 'mid-century asymmetrical mirror'.

Hanging and styling advice for asymmetrical wall mirror
This mirror is not meant to lean. If you need to hire a handyman to hang it, do it. But it needs to be about 6" higher than the table and centered.

Perceived cheapness of asymmetrical mirrors vs. classic round
I see the allure of an asymmetrical mirror but it looks a tad cheap, we do high end bathrooms and the circle mirror is an easy classic that will stand the test of time far better.

Identifying pebble mirrors and alternative retailers
It’s either from CB2, Urban Outfitters or West Elm. It was on my to buy list for the last few years. If you search for “pebble mirror” you’ll find many dupes and possibly the original from the photo.

Adhesive warning and DIY framing approach
You can get mirror specific adhesive. If you use regular construction adhesive there’s a good chance of the mirror failing over time, the adhesive can corrode the silver.
