Carrying a light through the yard after dark
With its strap and wireless design, the Aplô can be carried by hand or hung as a torch to light your way outdoors after sundown. The bulb-shaped lamp has a cap at the top to grip, and its warm glow works as the main light source in low light. It is designed for outdoor use with an IP 54 protection rating.[2,4,5,6]
A warm glow for tabletops and lounge areas
This bulb-shaped lamp works as a decorative or table lamp, resting on its magnetic stand to light up tables, whether on a terrace or in a lounge area. It's wireless, so you can set it wherever you need a soft spot of light after sundown. Its glow is warm and diffuse, with the brightest point near the center of the globe and a gentle falloff toward the edges.[2,5,6]
Hang it outdoors as a hanging light
This wireless outdoor lamp can be hung from its strap and used as a hanging light. Fermob describes positioning it overhead in outdoor settings, and accessories like the hanging strap allow supports such as a garden branch. The merchant also lists hanging lamp among the lamp's versatile uses.[2,3,5]
Mount it as a wall light
The Aplô can be screwed to a fixture and used as a wall light, adding to its torch, hanging, table, and floor lamp modes. Pairing it with the Aplô wall bracket (sold separately) is suggested for this setup.[2,5]
Use it as cabinet lighting in the house
The Aplo is a freestanding lamp that can also be used as cabinet lighting in the home — an application the author describes as innovative. Its compact bulb-style design lets it sit where a traditional fixture wouldn't. Note this is presented as a possible use rather than a dedicated built-in lighting solution.[3]
One lamp, many lighting roles indoors and out
The Aplô freestanding bulb lamp shifts between lighting roles: set it on its magnetic stand as a table or floor lamp, hang it from its strap as a pendant or torch, or screw it to a fixture as a wall light. With its accessories and several brightness settings, it adapts to different occasions and times of day, indoors or outdoors after sundown.[2,3,5]
Everyday on/off control with adjustable brightness and light color
Turn the lamp on with a push of the button — one click switches it on at full brightness, a second click drops it to 50%, and a third turns it off. While it is on, press and hold for two seconds to switch between a warm white (3000 Kelvin) and a cool white (6000 Kelvin) light, and use the FermobLighting mobile app to fine-tune brightness and light temperature to suit the moment.[3,4,5]
Keeping the Aplô lamp charged and clean
Recharge this battery-powered portable lamp with the supplied USB cable in a spot sheltered from bad weather; the manufacturer recommends regular charging to protect the battery, and a charge indicator lights while recharging and turns off when the battery reaches 100 percent. A charger is not included. To clean it, wipe with a soft cloth and lukewarm water, using a neutral pH soap for stubborn dirt and avoiding chemical cleaners.[1,4]

| Aplô Freestanding Bulb Lamp: Choose this if you want one cordless, portable outdoor lamp that adapts to many setups: with its accessories (some sold separately, like the wall bracket) it works as a torch, table or floor lamp, hanging light, or wall light, and its brightness settings offer four lighting scenarios with warm white (3000 Kelvin) and cool white (6000 Kelvin) tones you can switch via a long press or the FermobLighting app. It is built for outdoor use with an IP 54 rating, a rechargeable battery (3-hour recharge via the supplied USB cable, charger not included), and recyclable aluminum and polyethylene construction backed by a 2-year guarantee. Note that the light source and battery are not replaceable, so the entire luminaire must be replaced at end of life, and charging should be done sheltered from bad weather.[1,2,3,4,5] | Mini Balad Portable Lamps Set Of 3: Choose this if you want cordless, rechargeable accent lighting for tables, window ledges, or night-light duty — the set includes three compact lamps (each 4 by 4 by 5 inches) with a wood-tone carry handle in a Bamboo colorway. Each lamp offers three color temperatures, including a 2300°K flickering warm white meant to evoke candlelight, plus 50 and 100 percent intensity settings, with up to 13 hours of battery autonomy and a 4-hour recharge. For outdoor placement, the lamps carry an IP44 ingress rating, IK 10 impact resistance, and UV-resistant construction, and the design can be taken apart and repaired with available spare parts. Note that battery specs differ between sources: the retailer lists a 10-hour charge while the manufacturer cites a 13-hour maximum autonomy.[7,8,9,10,11,12,13] |
