It's hard to find mattress liners with any amount of cotton let alone organic cotton and that are breathable. This one is perfect for mattress protection and the terry cloth is cozy and your sheets don't slide off it like with synthetic covers/pads. On sale, it was too good of a deal to pass up.

I did not realise that the mattress protector has a plastic underlining. I washed it before using and it took a long time to dry. I have not used it and would not because it will not breathe and it will feel damp.

Belle qualité, mais…
Malheureusement, comme tous les draps contour depuis quelques années, ce couvrematelas est beaucoup trop «profond» pour un matelas «normal» (je ne pense pas que tous les gens ont des matelas hyper épais…). Il ne tient donc pas en place et il faut le replacer chaque matin lorsqu’on fait le lit… Aussi, je pensais que la ratine allait minimiser l’effet «caoutchouc» de la couche imperméable, mais ce n’est pas le cas. Donc si vous avez un matelas trrrrrrrrrès épais, ça ira possiblement ;-)

J'aime ce protège-matelas, j'en ai plusieurs à la maison pour les lits d'enfants. J'ai remarqué que maintenant sur l'emballage il est indiqué que le tissu sera résistant à l'eau jusqu'à 50 lavages (ce n'était pas là l'année dernière). On verra ce qui arrive à 51 lavages - parce que les lits d'enfant on lave ça souvent!
