Head Office
Fashion Buyer
The Buying Department is staffed with a large team of highly qualified buyers who travel the world in search of the latest trends and the best products for Simons. This work is undeniably one of the keys to success for a fashion enterprise. Our fashion buyers’ goal is essentially to develop new ideas and always offer our customers fashion at competitive prices. This position involves highly complex administrative tasks which require entrepreneurial expertise as well as highly developed business management and negotiating skills.
Technical assistant for our private label programs
Private label program technical assistants work with designer/coordinators and the buying team, providing technical assistance in sizing and grading styles as well as fitting them on mannequins. They are also involved in approving specific components of each style and in monitoring production of our exclusive products. This position requires expertise in garment construction and fitting.
Office clerk at our head office
Our office clerks perform a variety of administrative tasks in order to provide general support and fast and methodical service. They may also perform more specialized tasks depending upon the department to which they are assigned, such as Accounting, Credit, and Buying. They also use certain office equipment, such as computers and fax machines.
Graphic Designer
Graphic designers work for our Advertising Department located at our head office. Their mandate includes creating modern, avant-garde advertising concepts in keeping with international standards of quality. With their original ideas, our graphic designers help strengthen the Simons identity and deftly promote our position as a Quebec fashion leader.
Designer-Coordinator for our private label programs
Our designer-coordinators work in partnership with the Buying Department to ensure the high quality of our private label programs. Using specialized fashion design software, they create the specifications for each product that is made overseas exclusively for Simons. They are also responsible for monitoring production and ensuring product quality control.

All merchandise destined for our 7 stores passes through our distribution centre—a super modern building designed to optimize product handling. We offer a very pleasant, safe work environment. We are always seeking exceptional people to join our team of handlers.
In store
Customer service office manager
Our customer service office managers are responsible for the day-to-day management of the activities of the Customer Service Offices. They ensure that the operations of the office are executed in accordance with policies and procedures established by our Accounting Department. Methodical, organized, and highly customer-oriented, they train and supervise the office clerk team and are directly involved in the daily activities of the Customer Service Office. They promote excellence in customer service while establishing a work environment characterized by cooperation and friendliness.
Sales consultants
You are our ambassadors! Simons sales associates take a courteous, pressure-free approach to offer customers the latest in fashion with friendly, professional assistance. Our team works tirelessly to do everything it can to offer all customers a truly special shopping experience and maintain the quality of service that Simons is known for.
Window and mannequin dresser
The main task of our window and mannequin dressers is to present our merchandise by dressing and accessorizing the many mannequins throughout the store. They ensure that the mannequins reflect the most current fashion trends. They also set up seasonal windows and decors and theme displays.
Tailor-Seamstress
Our exclusive in-store alterations service is greatly appreciated by our customers, and it is probably our most popular service. Each of our stores is supplied with the most modern sewing equipment and staffed by highly skilled personnel who are selected for their technical expertise, superb quality of workmanship and just as important, their desire to offer customers the best service possible. Their duties are not limited to sewing tasks only, but also include offering professional advice to customers regarding the proper fit of their clothing purchases.
Stock handler
Our stock handlers perform a wide variety of tasks. They unload merchandise from trucks, transfer it to the appropriate departments, and help move merchandise display fixtures and furniture. They keep the register centers stocked with the appropriate paper and bag supplies, and they may also be called upon to perform various customer service tasks.
